Dry Your Eyes Mate

That reminds me of two songs; one by The Streets and one by Neil Diamond. Both are good - very good.

Yesterday I made my first sale in the photography world.

I made my first sale.

In the photography world.

That was a really good feeling and it totally confirmed my thoughts that I would like to pursue it as a lifelong career.

There is really nothing more exciting (to me) than for someone to really like something that you made enough to pay good money for it - and thus support you as an artist and professional. Thanks man.

My next sale may be a long time off, but this first one just nailed the coffin home for me. I know what I want to do.

Sure, this may be one of the most extravagant ideas ever - but it's really not. Why not follow your dreams if there are plenty of other people doing it and making a decent living right now? I mean, if one guy can do it - why not me?

Why not me?

Yeah, I know things like this are difficult and all, but I realized yesterday while sitting on my porch that nothing good comes easy - except salvation. Everything else (that is worth anything at all) you have to fight for, and bleed a little over.

And so - I take the next step.

Always with the next step...
